History
TDP came to power in Andhra Pradesh just nine months after its founding. Under Chandrababu Naidu it pioneered IT-led growth in Hyderabad in the late 1990s. After Telangana's bifurcation, TDP returned to power in 2024 in alliance with Jana Sena and BJP.
